5-Chloro-2-methoxybenzoic Acid is a reactant used in the synthesis of 4-[2-(5-Chloro-2-methoxybenzamido)ethyl]benzene Sulfonamide (C367895), an impurity arising in the synthesis of Glyburide (G598350) which inhibits the formation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in cardiomyocytes.
