7-(2-Chloro-5-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-1,2,4-benzotriazin-3-amine is used in the preparation of Src kinase inhibitors which show antitumor activity. In addition it is used in the synthesis of a topically admistered agent used in therapeutic treatment of age-related illnesses.
