7-Nitro-3-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1-tosyl-1H-indole is used as a reagent in the synthesis of piperazinyl pyrazolaminopyrimidinylindolylpropanamides as selective JAK1 inhibitors.
